I recently visited Huang Ji Huang and was genuinely impressed by both the food and the service. The steamed hotpot concept is incredibly unique — it brings out the natural flavors of each ingredient in a way that’s both healthy and satisfying. The dishes were beautifully presented and cooked right in front of us, which added an interactive and fun touch to the meal. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were exceptionally attentive, friendly, and had a strong service mindset. They patiently explained the process, checked in regularly without being intrusive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our dining experience. If you're looking for something different from your usual hotpot, Huang Ji Huang is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Huang Ji Huang delivers an unforgettable dining experience with their Mala Simmer Hot Pot. Visiting with a friend, we found the portion for two to be incredibly generous. The combination of original and Mala sauces created a tantalizing flavor that wasn't overwhelming in spice. The protein selection of beef with enoki, chicken, and prawn was succulent and perfectly complemented by the assortment of veggies like sweet potatoes, carrots, and celery. The addition of red dates and colorful paprika enhanced the visual appeal. They even provided extra sambal for those craving more heat. To top it off, the meal concluded with refreshing watermelon and a delightful variety of ice cream flavors. The communal atmosphere added to the joy of sharing such delicious fare with loved ones. Huang Ji Huang is a must-visit for any food enthusiast seeking a memorable dining experience.

First time being here and come here around 7 p.m. for dinner and got the table as I arrived. The service was excellent, generous staffs and kinda like the experience of looking the food cooked and processed in front of you. Got 1 main course called Mun Kombinasi with Bacon, Enoki with Beef, Meatball and Noodle also I ordered additional Maling. The best from the dish was the meatball as it was soft and meaty. The sauce I chose was Saus Special, the combination of their original sauce and mala sauce so it made the dish a lil bit spicy and salty. AND THAT SO GEWDD! Big portion, maybe can be served for 3-4 person.

Have a great experience dining here. The service was good, very welcoming and friendly staff. Food also great, big portion, tasty and umami. 1 mix combination was enough for 4-5 person. Would definitely come back again to enjoy with friends and family.

Huang Ji Huang is a Chinese restaurant with a comfortable ambiance that mainly serves dishes cooked in a large pot, suitable for sharing. They offer chicken, beef, lamb, pork, fish, shrimp, squid, and frog, with various sauces to choose from, such as salty fresh/spicy, mala, and special sauce. We tried Mun Kombinasi with mala sauce level 2 (IDR 513,000), adding on hand-pulled noodles as the carbs for IDR 48,000. This is a large pot for sharing among 3 - 4 people. The staff will cook it directly at our table, so we can see the cooking process. This mun kombinasi consists of beef, shrimp, pork ribs, tofu, carrots, onions, garlic, along with the thick mala sauce that is more into sweet and a bit spicy. As a closing, they'll give us complimentary fruit and ice cream. I like their mango ice cream! It's refreshing!

As soon as I entered Huang Ji Huang, I can smell a familiar smell of Chinese spices. The restaurant boasts 10 different spices to complete their set. My family ordered salad which is mainly consists of lotus roots. In addition to that, we also ordered pork, beef, and shrimp. I would say the taste of the food refer to the authentic Chinese food. The staff were generally friendly, we were occasionally asked if the food was okay and whether there's anything to complain. There wasn't. Overal good experience. At the end of the meal, we get complimentary fruits.
